For the award category of Provincial Governments with the Best Strategy in Achieving KUR Distribution, it was secured by (1) Central Java Province; (2) East Java Province; and (3) Lampung Province. Meanwhile, the award for Provincial Governments with the Best Innovation in Increasing KUR Distribution was claimed by (1) West Java Province; (2) South Sumatra Province; and (3) Bali Province. The awards were received by the respective governors or officials representing them. Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, and Governor of Lampung were present to receive the awards, while other regional leaders were represented by their subordinates.
The assessment of the awardees was based on the evaluation by a jury panel comprising members from the Ministry/Institutions including the Committee for Financing Policy for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM), National Research and Innovation Agency, and Academics.
There were 8 categories contested by participants including 10 Provincial Governments, 34 District/City Governments, 28 Regional Offices of the Directorate General of Treasury, 23 KUR Distributors, and 9 KUR Guarantee Companies.
Meanwhile, as of July 31, 2023, the distribution of People’s Business Credit reached Rp 126.63 trillion, benefiting 2.3 million debtors, with Non-Performing Loans (NPL) remaining stable at 1.63 percent.
